Tier list as of patch 1.33.0 — June 2026

Arc Raiders Weapon Tier List Best Weapons — Patch 1.33.0 Meta

The current Arc Raiders meta was shaped by the Riven Tides 1.26.0 durability and weapon-economy overhaul (and the 1.29.0 follow-up), not by the latest patch — Live Update 1.33.0 added no weapon balance changes. This list combines the confirmed balance changes from the official patch notes with opinion-based community rankings aggregated from recent (May–June 2026) sources.

How to read this list: The balance changes in the "Confirmed Balance Changes" section are sourced from official ARC Raiders patch notes. The tier rankings themselves are subjective community consensus (opinion) aggregated from multiple data sites and recent tier lists — they vary by source and playstyle. See the Sources block at the bottom.

Weapon Tier List — as of patch 1.33.0 (June 2026)

These rankings are opinion/community consensus aggregated from May–June 2026 sources (see Sources). Sources disagree on exact placements — Tempest and Venator ranked higher in April lists than in June data, and upgraded lower-rarity weapons like Ferro and Stitcher overperform their base tier.

Confirmed Balance Changes (1.26.0 → 1.33.0)

Everything in this section is sourced from official ARC Raiders patch notes — these are facts, not opinion. They are what actually moved the meta.

Riven Tides 1.26.0 (~April 28, 2026)

  • Durability/economy overhaul: commons lose durability faster on shots (about +75%); epics/legendaries lose less (about −5%/−10%). Average spawn durability outside locked rooms reduced from 50 to 30. Upgrading a weapon now repairs 25% of max durability. Durability loss on knockout reduced by 50% (to 15%).
  • Bettina buffed: base damage 14 → 16, ARC armor damage about +33%, per-shot dispersion reduced ~40%, dispersion recovery improved ~30%, base fire rate reduced 285 → 235, heavy ammo stack 40 → 60.
  • Trigger 'Nade nerfed: 1s delay after throw, 1.3s after trigger (to stop spam).
  • Photoelectric Cloak nerfed: weight 1 → 3, power use 2.5/s → 10/s.

Patch 1.29.0 (May 19, 2026)

  • Bettina fire rate increased 235 → 250 (partial reversal of the 1.26.0 cut).
  • Durability: lifetime increased for the "worst offenders" that broke too quickly.
  • Extended Barrel buffed: velocity bonus 25% → 30%, damage falloff distance +15%; renamed Extended Barrel III with lower-tier variants added.
  • Photoelectric Cloak power cost reduced 10/s → 5/s (partial reversal).
  • Weapon mods now affect ADS transition speed for scoped weapons.

Live Update 1.33.0 (June 16, 2026)

  • No weapon stat or balance changes.
  • Bug fix: corrected unexpected aim-down-sights behavior that impacted aiming accuracy with some weapons — a minor positive for precision/accuracy-dependent weapons.

Net effect: the durability overhaul makes higher-rarity weapons more sustainable in prolonged PvP, while the Bettina buffs (and partial reversals) kept it competitive. No major shifts occurred between 1.29.0 and 1.33.0.

Weapon Spotlights

Spotlight takes below are opinion based on aggregated community sources for the current patch.

Hullcracker & Equalizer

The standout anti-ARC specials. Hullcracker consistently tops recent data for ARC armor shred and PvE effectiveness, and the Equalizer is a strong specialist energy weapon for weak-point and anti-armor work. Both are S-tier in the latest wzstats data.

Renegade & Jupiter

Renegade (battle rifle) brings massive per-shot damage with excellent range and armor penetration, consistent across sources. Jupiter is a high-velocity, multi-target sniper sitting in S-tier in the most recent data.

Bettina

The clearest "balance change to meta" story. The 1.26.0 damage/accuracy buffs and the 1.29.0 fire-rate restoration made Bettina a competitive top-tier assault rifle again. Strong armor pressure for players who can manage recoil.

Dolabra & upgraded budget picks

Dolabra remains a powerful A-tier shotgun option, and after the durability changes, fully upgraded lower-rarity weapons like Ferro and Stitcher punch above their weight. Placements here vary most between sources.

Best Loadouts

Anti-ARC / PvE

Hullcracker or Equalizer for armor shred + Bettina for versatile follow-up

General Raiding

Bettina or Renegade + Anvil sidearm for burst peeks

PvP First

Renegade or Bobcat + Anvil for high per-shot and close-range pressure

Budget Progression

Fully upgraded Ferro or Stitcher — strong value after the 1.26.0/1.29.0 durability changes

Sources & Methodology

Confirmed balance changes are taken from the official ARC Raiders patch notes for Riven Tides 1.26.0, patch 1.29.0, and Live Update 1.33.0.

Tier rankings are opinion — community consensus aggregated from multiple recent (May–June 2026) sources, which disagree on exact placements:

Known disagreements: Tempest and Venator ranked S-tier in April sources but lower in June data; Il Toro varies widely by playstyle; upgraded lower-rarity weapons (Ferro, Stitcher) overperform their base tier due to the durability changes.
