Legendary Energy Shotgun

Dolabra Guide Blueprint Farm, Fire Modes & Best Uses

Dolabra is the signature Flashpoint weapon: a shotgun that stops acting like a shotgun the moment you ADS. It is powerful because it solves the exact problems Flashpoint introduced, especially heavy ARC pressure around the Assessor.

Dolabra Overview

Dolabra is a legendary energy shotgun that uses Energy Clips. It is strongest when you think of it as two weapons sharing one frame: a close-range spread clear in hipfire and a precision ARC-killer when you ADS.

Fire Modes Explained

Hipfire: Wide Burst

Hipfire turns Dolabra into crowd control. Use it when ARC swarms collapse, when Raiders force point-blank fights, or when you need wide-area damage more than precision.

ADS: Focused Funnel

Aiming down sights tightens Dolabra into a focused beam that punches much harder through armor. This is the mode that makes it so good against Vaporizers and elite ARC.

Stats

Exact stat-table numbers are still being community-verified, but the weapon identity is already clear: wide close-range coverage in hipfire, focused armor damage in ADS, and one of the strongest anti-ARC profiles in the game.

Blueprint Route: Assessor Containers

Dolabra is tied directly to Close Scrutiny. The blueprint drops from the three breachable Assessor containers.

Meta Position and Vulcano Comparison

Dolabra is an S-tier Flashpoint weapon because it compresses two jobs into one slot: close-range control and elite ARC deletion. That alone is enough to put it above many older comfort weapons.

Vulcano still has real close-range burst. But if the question is which shotgun is better for Flashpoint PvE, the answer is usually Dolabra. The focused ADS mode gives it safer range, better armor interaction, and much stronger synergy with the new raid condition.

The Closed-Loop Economy

Flashpoint quietly built a nice loop around Dolabra: kill Vaporizers, loot Vaporizer Regulators, and use those regulators to craft the exact weapon that is best at killing more Vaporizers. That feedback loop is one reason the weapon already feels central to the patch instead of optional.
