Night Raid Event
Arc Raiders Complete Guide
Night Raid is an official ARC Raiders map condition. This page now centers the official description first, then separates community-tracked expectations from what Embark has explicitly published.
Official Status
Map Condition
Embark describes Night Raid as a map condition, not a generic event bucket.
Official Tone
Darker, Meaner, Riskier
The official description calls out darker visibility, tougher ARC pressure, and rare salvage under moonlight.
Official Map References
Blue Gate + Stella Montis
Night Raid launched over Blue Gate, and later Stella Montis notes mention Night Raid lighting changes.
What is Night Raid?
Night Raid is officially described as a darker raid window where ARC grow meaner and Raiders hunt for rare salvage under moonlight.
✅ Update - Events Fixed:
The map conditions schedule issue has been fixed! Embark Studios pushed an update that enables this week's schedule. No download required, but please restart your game to see the updated events including Night Raid.
Official Source Snapshot
Embark's November 7, 2025 map-conditions post places Night Raid over Blue Gate, while Headwinds 1.13.0 later notes that Stella Montis Night Raid lighting had most lamps turned off.

How Night Raid Works
During Night Raid
When Night Raid is active on a map, the following changes occur:
- 🌙 Darkness - The map becomes significantly darker, reducing visibility and creating a more dangerous atmosphere
- 💎 High-Tier Loot - Increased spawn rates of valuable items, rare materials, and premium weapon parts
- ⚔️ Enhanced Combat - More dangerous encounters and higher-stakes gameplay
- 💡 Lighting Effects - Most lamps are turned off (as of patch 1.13.0), creating an even darker experience
⏰ Time-Limited Event
Night Raid typically lasts 30-90 minutes before rotating to the next event or standard patrol. Make sure to take advantage of the increased loot while it's active!
Rotation
Official posts describe Night Raid as part of the live rotation, but they do not publish a fixed minute-based duration. Use the tracker for the current window.
3. Check the Live Rotation
If Night Raid still is not showing, check our live rotation tracker before assuming something is broken. The tracker is more reliable than guessing from old rotation habits.
When Does Night Raid Appear?
Official sources are narrower than most community summaries. Embark first introduced Night Raid over Blue Gate, and later patch notes mention Night Raid lighting on Stella Montis. Use the live tracker for the current rotation instead of assuming full-map coverage.
Official Launch Reference
Blue Gate
The official New Map Conditions post says, "Night falls over Blue Gate."
Later Patch Note Reference
Stella Montis
Headwinds 1.13.0 notes that most lamps were turned off for Night Raid lighting on Stella Montis.
📊 Track Live Night Raid Times
Don't guess when Night Raid will appear. Our live event tracker shows you:
- ✓ Which maps currently have Night Raid active
- ✓ Countdown timers showing how long until the event ends
- ✓ When the next Night Raid event starts
- ✓ All events across all six maps in real-time
- Which maps currently have Night Raid active
- Countdown timers showing how long until the live window ends
- When the next Night Raid rotation starts
- All map conditions across the wider rotation in real time
Why Is Night Raid Not Showing?
1. You're in a Standard Patrol Period
Night Raid rotates on a schedule. If you don't see it, you're likely in a period between special events. Check the tracker to see when the next Night Raid starts.
2. Event Just Ended
The live rotation may simply have moved on. Official sources do not publish a fixed duration, so the tracker is the safest way to confirm whether the Night Raid window has ended.
3. ✅ Events Now Fixed - Restart Required
The map conditions schedule issue has been resolved! Embark Studios pushed an update that enables this week's schedule. No download required, but please restart your game to see Night Raid and other events.
If you've restarted and Night Raid still isn't showing, check our live rotation tracker to see when it should be active.

💡 Pro Tip:
Night Raid is one of the best conditions for farming high-value loot. Bring extra inventory space and prioritize the most valuable items. The darkness makes it more dangerous, but the rewards are worth it!
Night Raid Strategy Tips
1. Bring Flashlights or Light Sources
The darkness significantly reduces visibility. Make sure you have adequate lighting to navigate and spot enemies.
2. Maximize Inventory Space
Night Raid spawns significantly more valuable loot. Empty your backpack beforehand or bring extra bags to carry more valuables.
3. Watch the Timer
Keep track of how much time is left in the event. Plan your extraction route early to avoid getting caught when the event ends.
4. Expect More Danger
The darkness makes it harder to spot enemies and other players. Be extra cautious and listen for audio cues.
5. Team Up for Safety
Going in with a squad can help you cover more ground and defend your loot during the limited event window. The darkness makes solo play more dangerous.
