Is Steam down affecting Arc Raiders?
Arc Raiders login depends on Steam authentication. When Steam runs its weekly Tuesday maintenance (typically 1pm–6pm Pacific), players may be unable to log into Arc Raiders even though Arc Raiders servers themselves are fully operational.

Check Steam’s official status to see if maintenance or an outage is affecting login:

If the Steam Store and Friends list are also inaccessible or slow, the issue is Steam—not Arc Raiders. When Steam maintenance ends, Arc Raiders login should work again without any action from Embark.
Steam file verification when EAC fails after Steam updates
After a Steam client or game update, Easy Anti-Cheat can sometimes fail because game files or the EAC service are out of sync. If you get an EAC or launch error right after a Steam update:
- In Steam, right-click Arc Raiders → Properties → Installed Files → Verify integrity of game files.
- Run EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe from the game folder as Administrator and choose Repair Service.
- Restart your PC and try again.
